love BODEGA
It’s no surprise, I love clothes and when I heard that a new vintage store opened up in Hamilton (thanks to ihearthamilton.tumblr & myhammerca.tumblr) I had to check it out for myself. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. In one stop you can get your eye-brows waxed, pick up a completely original outfit fitting for any personality, fix up your face with some MAC, accessorize with vintage jewelry and original head pieces, buy some local art for your living room and ride home on a brand new skateboard. Wow. Next to all that good stuff the staff is super friendly and accommodating while giving you the necessary space to do your thing.
My favourite part of the shop would be the selection. I hate walking into vintage stores, especially when I’m tight on time, and have to rummage through piles of crap to find the gem. Bodega is selective with their product which ensures only the best, coolest, original shit.
What you can find: art, clothing, jewelery, make-up, accessories, vintage home decor, skateboards, vinyl, great selection of vintage t’s

These are amazing. These dyed and studded denim shorts were the first thing that caught my eye in the store. They are made by a local designer, Meaghan O’Brian (To Die for Denim) and are a fashion must in my closet/suitcase this season. I could barely get my ass into them but I had to own them. Besides, I justified the $65 purchase with all the walking all be doing in hilly SF next month. The thing we tell ourselves to make us feel better.
Anyways, check them out. Great with bare legs or contrasting full-footed tights.
